Family, Friends and Fun

This past week my parent's came to visit us from Virginia.  We had a great time and the weather was beautiful.  Paul played outside everyday and wore us all out.  My parents brought Paul this red car and he loved it and at times we couldn't hardly get him out of it.  When John and my dad took the car out of the box Paul sat in it and they had to finish putting it together with him in it. 

We spent a few days at the farm and we pushed Paul all over in his red car.  Shirley came with us one day and helped me quilt a blanket I was making for Paul.  When it is completely finished I will post a picture.  My mom watched us quilt some and played with Paul some.  We were all

tired when we got home that day.

My parent's left early this morning.  We were sad to see them go.  Paul loved spending time with his grandparents and Rascal.  It didn't take him long to warm up to them this visit.  The video chatting since Christmas has really helped this time.

We were invited to Andalusia by our frinds Nancy and Jeremy to go to a function called "Cookies with Characters."  We watched a show with all the characters and them were able to have a few minutes one and one time with them and then at the end of course the cookies.  Paul had fun with Pooh, Elmo, Cookie Monster and Big Bird.  They did a great job with everything and we felt we got much more than our $5 worth.  We will probably do it again next year.  Paul enjoyed playing with Jack too.

After spending the afternoon with the characters, we went to the best kids playground I have ever been to for kids.  Paul fell asleep on the way there.  We had to wake him up, but he really had fun there.  We had a long ride home and ate at Jack's house and Paul fell asleep on the way home.  Off to bed for us all we are pooped!
